Final project of "Instructional Design"

The end of the semester is here. Now it's time for you to write the final project.

Choose a subject that you teach in your institution. Apply what you have learned and discussed in "Learning Design for Language and Literature" class to design the instruction for the subject.

  1. How do you perform need analysis for this subject?
  2. How do you perform situational analysis?
  3. What is the instructional goal?
  4. How do you select and/or develop the materials?
  5. What are the approach/method and teaching techniques?
  6. How do you evaluate the instruction?

Write the answers to the above questions by elaborating them in a paper. You should organize your paper in this way:

  • Introduction
  • Need Analysis
  • Situational Analysis
  • Instructional Goal
  • Material Selection/Development
  • Approach/Method and Techniques
  • Evaluation
  • Conclusion
  • Appendices

The paper should be written on A4 paper, using Times Roman font 12pt, 1.5 space. Please send the soft copy of your paper by email. The deadline is 30 July 2011, midnight.

Wish you the best in your studies. I hope all of you will do well and finish you study on time.
